Unity Market Day is an active farmers' market partnered with other events to create a weekly celebration of rural living in our community. The place to be every Saturday from 9 to 1 is at Unity Market Day at the Unity Community Center.

Cornerstone Farm

Cornerstone Farm is a small diverse livestock farm. We raise and sell grass fed belted galloway beef, pasture raised pork and free range fertilized eggs. We also sell yarn and mittens made from wool from the family farm. Our animals are not feed antibiotics or artificial growth hormones. We carry a range of steaks, roasts, chops, ribs, sausages, and ground meats, nitrate-free hams and bacon. Please contact us for more information.

Our two acres of MOFGA certified organic gardens provide shoppers with the finest vegetables, culinary and medicinal herbs, lupines and other perennials in recycled plant pots. Visit our gardens and greenhouse anytime, or come to our annual farm tour noon to 4pm on Sunday, July 10, 2005. We're at the market all season. The Van Deventer family, 3 brothers and extended families, bought the existing farm in 1997. Today the farm consists of 5 acres of fields for vegetables, 3 acres of apple trees, and 3 greenhouses for flowers, herbs and seedlings. At present Top Notch is one of two greenhouse companies that are growing chestnut trees for the American Chestnut Society. All retail produce is sold at farmers markets, farm stands & supermarkets only. The farm is not open to the public, however, wholesale inquiries are invited.

Appleton Creamery is a small-scale family farm, producing award-winning goat cheese and sheep cheese.
