General:
The new year promises to be a time for revealing old secrets in many areas. Plots to take over companies, people or places will be uncovered, in most cases, before they can be implemented. Secrets from old societies will be uncovered and the phrase "everything old is new again" will make its' point known. Secrets about government plans, ours and others, will be brought to light by some diligent reporters and what appears to be "accidents". At first, the scope of some of the secrets will seem too bizarre to be true. However, some things just won't go away and will prove to be truthful.

Science:
The gap between science and what is commonly known to science as the "far fetched" will be narrowing in 2003. Machines that work with people's energy without a need to invade the physical body, will find their way to the marketplace. Although many will scoff, these machines will be investigated and research will be conducted. The world of science will be one step closer to the world of the intuitive. Look for other things that will marry science with the intuitive. The fact that they are not meant to be separate sciences (and yes, they can both be considered science) will assist many medical professionals with "breakthrough" solutions. Diseases such as diabetes, cancer, and some neuromuscular illnesses will see great inroads toward an actual cure in this new year. "The patch" will be used in more than smoking or birth control. Eye correction will take a new twist without surgery. The diet industry will continue to reap in mega money for cure-alls, but a new "all encompassing" plan will be presented from an unlikely source that will change the way America diets. The controversy over cloning continues.

Earth Changes:
The feeling for 2003 is that Gaia is ready to "shake off" some of the pollution and poisons that humanity has forced upon her. There will be a general movement, slow but steady, toward better understanding of the environment. With some of these changes - earthquake, volcanoes, floods as well as droughts (the new year will have it all) - people will be forced to see the part that they play in the whole ecosystem. As some secrets get revealed, whole parts of the globe will change their appearance. Be prepared for some water issues in the new year. Keep a supply of bottled water on hand. Talk of the rising of Atlantis will be heady conversation mid- to late-year. Don't dismiss all the rumors as unlikely. The moving of the Earth will unveil some things that have remained hidden. There will be news coming out of Egypt with some new discoveries.

Spirituality:
The battle between religion and spirituality heats up. You will see more and more extreme thinking about what is "right" and what is "wrong". There is a good chance of a charismatic speaker coming into the limelight about mid-year with talk of "the right and only way to find. . .", spreading the word over more than one country. For those people who have been working on their own development, you will see yourself moving quickly into a new outlook on cause and effect. It will be imperative to stay open to your creative flows and honor your abilities and the abilities of others. For those who wish to remain in the "status quo", you will probably see more illness and undiagnosed diseases creeping into the busy lives of the "A" type personalities. The concepts and beliefs of many "alternative" religions will be investigated. Some will be found "too cult like" while others will be dismissed as "not a viable religion" (whatever that will mean). Be prepared to accept more than the usual. You will be made aware of your own abilities where the unusual is concerned.

PEACE:
Here we go again. Just when it looks like the general populace has decided that war is not necessary, there will be a faction that stirs up trouble. Remember your power where peace is concerned. If you can keep light and love in your heart, you can prevent war. The faction that is seeking war is growing weaker. However, because the news likes the sensationalism of war versus peace, the negative faction will still manage to get a lot of press. Don't expect any clear cut answers about this until the end of the year. Somewhere around November, there will be an "event" that will make everyone realize the need to seek peace. Remember that terrorism has been part and parcel of our development since the beginning. If you refuse to add your energy to terrorist acts, you will see that many will be discovered before they are acted on.

Government / Economy:
There's a good possibility that someone in a high place of power within our government or a close ally will be assassinated this year. Governments everywhere will be dealing with natural disasters and other earth issues creating a time of necessary cooperation. Look for big changes in March, September and November of the new year. Each will mark a change that the general populace must become more aware of their role in the governing of both the country and their participation in worldly issues. There will be some strange allies formed mid to late year. The stock market will continue it's roller coaster ride never reaching the highs of previous days. You will see restructuring of government in more than one country in order to combat graft and corruption.

The unrest of the past few years will continue and actually escalate on our homefront. Terrorism , both foreign and domestic, will play a major role in the news. Many "peace" activists will find themselves pushing the boundaries toward violence themselves. Their message getting lost amongst their own anger and frustration.

Divorce and separation is on the horizon for many who have not been true to themselves. More people will turn toward self actualization and thus eliminate what is not working for them. This could actually be a very healthy thing, if people are not running from their problems, but rather to themselves. This will also lead to many people changing their life paths and focusing on the big picture.

Spirituality and the search for "The Other Side" and "Beyond" will continue to grow in popularity in our culture. A shift will enable true skeptics to start seeing for themselves, without the use of a Medium. There will be a greater belief in spiritual healing and Psychics assisting in crime solving and counseling.

The Economy will remain unstable with more large lay-offs from major companies. The cost of oil and fuel will escalate due to shortages and the conflict in the Middle-East. Travel by train will also decrease after a major accident. There will be major medical advancements in the field of genetic research.
