Artist's Statement
The works I create are a result
of a labor-intensive meditation exploring the evocative history
of images and the passage of time. I am compelled by images that
express and give form to the conflicts and desires of humanity;
that suggest in their essence the possibility of transcendence
from the present state. It is this insistent possibility that
I wish to call upon by using the body and landscape as visual
seduction, drawing the viewer into a psychologically complex
reading beyond expected satisfactions
