Job Description

    Psychology is a scientific study of behavior and thought.  The field is astoundingly broad and complex.  Psychology investigates the internal and external occurrences that lead to the type of behavior that is demonstrated.  Psych looks closely at the nervous and endocrine systems, as well as, influence by genetics.  Learned behaviors are a large part of the study, with focus on perception, vision, and memory.  The individual characteristics that identify each person are often addressed.  Social interaction plays a role in behavioral contacts and communications with other people.  Development is also a concentration in psych.  Most psychological research is focussed around memory, perception, motivation, and social influence.
