First: Please take a quick look around the site, including the FAQ page. In about 50 percent of all emails I refer writers to content already on the site. This will save both of us time and give you important information sooner. If you don't see what you need there then by all means email me, even if the machine is not a Gilson. If you find what you want then email me anyhow and let me know what you found to be helpful.

Second: Please make sure that your email is configured so I can reply. Frequently I get dead letters that have Spam blocking return addresses or otherwise prevent my response from getting back to you, frankly I don't have time to sort through that stuff. If you are writing back to me it is best if you do so in the form of a reply to the earlier message, that way I will have that as a reference. In the busy season I can get 100s of messages per week and as much as I'd like to I cannot remember them all by name. I try to save copies of all responses but finding them wastes time.
