The Frilond campaign uses an alternate monetary system to the one presented in the Player's Handbook. We also use an adapted version of the d20 Modern's clever wealth system to handle the game mechanics of purchasing and selling trade goods.

This Converter translates 3e gold piece values into Frilond terms of account (L. = Pound, M. = Mark, s. = shilling, p. = penny), as well as calculating the wealth check Difficulty Class. Note that the actual price and/or DC may vary, given that some items are harder to acquire in Frilond than in a typical D&D setting.
