The * Frilond * Campaign
Riddles

[As round as an apple
[A red-faced fellow
[A house full]
[Motherless
[You saw me]
[Look in my face
[One man can carry]
[First you see]
[I have a mouth
[Never seen
[Dart and Dash
[From house to house]
[Lighter than a feather]
[I disguise myself]

As round as an apple, as deep as a cup
And all the king's men can't fill it up

[unknown]

A red-faced fellow
Fat and round,
Stave in his hand
And a stone in his throat.

[a cherry]

A house full, a hole full,
You cannot gather a bowl full.

[smoke, or mist]

Motherless I was born,
Toothless I gasped,
Skinless I grew,
My first breath was my last.

[a fart]

You saw me where I never was
And where I could not be
And yet within that very place
My face you often see

[reflection in a mirror]

Look in my face
I am somebody
Look in my back
I am nobody

[a mirror]

One man can carry me
Yet not even a hundred men
Can make me stand on end

[rope]

First you see me in the grass
Dressed in yellow I play
Next time you see me, I'm dainty white
Then I fly away

[dandelion]

I have a mouth
But speak not a word
I have no legs
Yet I can run swiftly

[a river]

Never seen
Only heard
I only speak when spoken to

[an echo]

Dart and Dash
Slip and Slide
Where I live
I also Hide

[a fish]

From house to house I go
Sometimes narrow, sometimes wide
And whether it rains or snows
I always stay inside

[a road]

Lighter than a feather
Yet harder to hold
You only see me when its cold

[breath]

I disguise myself to confuse you
But once you know me
I can never fool you

[riddle]
