In keeping with Frilond's pseudo-European flavor, only Old World fruits and vegetables are available. These include the following:
| apple | apricot | artichoke |
| asparagus | beet | broad bean |
| broccoli | brussel sprout | cabbage |
| carrot | cauliflower | celery |
| cherry | citron | cucumber |
| date | fig | grape |
| leek | lettuce | mushroom |
| olive | onion | parsnip |
| pea | peach | pear |
| radish | rhubarb | spinach |
| strawberry | turnip |
Not all of these items are available in every area within Frilond. The Kingdom of Selcrany, for example, is too cold to support olive trees. The following common fruits and vegetables, FYI, originated in the New World, and were not introduced to Europe until the 15th and 16th centuries:
| avocado | kidney bean | lima bean |
| pineapple | potato | pumpkin |
| squashes | sweet pepper | sweet potato |
| tomato |
Pickled beets and pickled cabbage are common fare in Selcran taverns—along with pickled herring. Just the thing, with a pint of Blackbelly, a loaf of bread, and hunk of cheese.
