- I own a company called Digital Vantage Point, through which I develop Inter/Intranet Remote content management systems and e-commerce solutions

- I have been an avid Virtual Reality hobbiest for over 4 years

- I generally develop my VR software in Visual Basic, so I'm pretty familiar with the various graphic manipulation methodologies in VB.

- I developed a software package called 3D Imager, which digitally combinesV ViewAttch 20%- I developed a software package called 3D Imager, which digitally combines a left and right image to create an Interleaved stereoscopic image capable of being viewed through a Head Mounted Display or stereoscopic shutter glasses.

- I've been working on perfecting a similar technique to create stereoscopic videos and Panoramic displays. I've made some pretty cool progress over the last couple of weeks.

- I have built a couple of computer controlled motion platforms. One that uses a stepper motor for yaw, and another that uses a couple of servos for pitch and yaw. I have written software to control the motion of these platforms in a number of ways, including my current efforts to control the platform using the output of a head motion tracker.

- I have written a number of programs to strip out graphical information from AVIs and such.

- I'm not much of an electronics guy, though I can handle a soldering iron pretty well. I haven't done any electronic designs in a long tiome, and when I did, they were usually either simple control circuits or minor modifications to circuits I found in a textbook or magazine. So, suffice it to say that if you guys are looking for someone to provide input on computer and software systems, I ought to be able to help. However I'm definately NOT your man for designing circuits or building delicate hardware. I look forward to helping out in any way I can.
