Down East Fair Meeting and

Invited!

Time: 7:00
P.M.
Place: Church of Our Father Parish Hall; Come and
bring your ideas and help with the planning of our 50th Down East Fair!
The 50th Anniversary Fair U.S. Postage Stamps have arrived and will be available for pick up at the Fair meeting and also the
next few Sundays at Church. Payment of $15 per sheet goes to Gina. Checks made
out to the "Down East Fair". Orders will also be taken for a
second printing during the next couple of weeks if you missed us the first
time.
Save the Date!! ~ The "50th Down East
Church Fair Celebration Dinner"will be held Saturday, June 14th at 5:30 p.m. Plans are well
underway for this grand evening at the Hulls Cove Schoolhouse. Planning
committee Martha Dodge, Sandy LeFever, Charlene Bullard, Leigh Beatty, Margaret
Delehanty and Joanne Sousa have planned a "50th Jubilee
Celebration" dinner featuring baked spiral hams, roast turkey,Church of
Our Father home cooked casseroles, salads and appetizers. Of course, there will
be a 50th Celebration Cake by Janice not to mention entertainment, Down East
Fair History and powerpoint presentation of old Fair photos.
We shall have a sign up sheet up Memorial weekend
for all church members. We shall also be asking for help with set up, kitchen
crew and cleanup crews. We want to be well staffed so everyone will have a
great evening, hopefully a "memory maker" just like the 49 Down East
Fairs have been!
This will be an opportunity for our Church to thank many in the community for their continued help over the years. We will be making a list
of guests to invite. The first chance for chairmen to add names to the
invitation list will be at the Fair meeting on Tuesday. Our committee will make
the calls.

on, especially you wooden stool painters! See you Tuesday evening.
