Nana's Place offers all the comforts of home. One of my own favorite rooms of the 1800's Federal Colonial is the living room where volumes of genealogical research are available for your perusal during your stay. Many of these books contain information on my family and the collection is a virtual "Who's Who" of Boothbay Harbor families, such as the Coolen, Marr, Mckown, Lewis & Pinkham clans. Want to look for more on your Boothbay Region roots? The Boothbay Historical Museum is just 2 doors down.
Now a quaint 2 bedroom B & B, Nana's offers hospitality and all the comforts of home, while you are away from home. Nana's Place caters to the senior set, but welcomes guests of all ages. When you are ready to start your day, come down for juice and coffee, on the sun porch, screen porch, or deck while I prepare your breakfast in my "galley". When you are ready to head into town, leave your car here, and stroll into the hub of the Village where you can explore the local art galleries, specialty shops, and other area points of interest. Book a boat trip around the harbor or walk the footbridge across the cove and acquaint yourself with this beautiful Maine harbor town. Come back to Nana's and rest before heading back out to one of the local restaurants for a sumptuous Maine lobster dinner, and then it is off to see a performance at one of the local playhouses.
