I trade one for one in most cases. Please see my Want List for my interests/wants. When you're ready to trade, please contact me via email.
This list was last updated 23 December, 2006. I don't always think to update this list, be forewarned. Unless otherwise stated, these are new/unused. I can scan any patch upon request. I have split this into a few different categories. Please use the 'shortcuts' below to jump to the section that interests you:
I have hundreds of different event patches and these change from time to time. Rather than list everything, I've listed a sample below. If there is a particular theme you are interested in, please contact me and I'll look through what I've got. I am also willing to do blind trades on event patches in groups of up to 20. Please no popcorn, apple day or scout trees patches.
Event patches I have include:
Several camporees/klondike derbies from my home district, Kennebec Valley District, in Pine Tree Council.
Camp Bomazeen on the shore of Great Pond (of On Golden Pond fame) in Belgrade, Maine and Camp Hinds in Raymond, Maine.
The now defunct Snowshoe District in western Maine--K-Valley absorbed the eastern half and Abnaki District absorbed the western half. Snowshoe's mascot was a snowshoe rabbit with an early 80's style red boy scout beret. This mascot appeared on several of their event patches.
I have several event patches from neighboring Daniel Webster Council including a klondike derby patch that shows the dangers of not learning how to lash properly, and patches with Snoopy and the Jetson/Flintones characters on them.
Hundreds of other single event patches from across the country, mostly mid-1980's through today, but a few going back to the early 70's and late 60's.

Patches/crests I have from scouting organizations outside of the USA include:
Scouts Canada
1995 Voyageur, 9th New Brunswick Jamboree
1999 Maritime Jamboree
CJ'01 PEI ocean cliff crest
CJ'01 Racoon mascot crest (this one is neat in my opinion)
CJ'01 Envornment Canada crest
CJ'01 Alberta NWT Nunavut Beaver Subcamp crest
11th Alberta Jamboree 2006 Purple Ghost
2001 Jamboree on the trail
C.R.O.C. '99 Voyageur Region Scout Jamboree
First Edson Scouts (brown squirrel)
Bear Wildlife Crest (patrol medallion)
Greater Victoria Region Contingent PJ'03
Alberta (maybe provincial council patch?),br>
Camp Anderson Heritage Camopree-Fort George 2003 (outline of a 6 sided fort)
Scouts Australia
Five different patrol medallions. Alas, mates, I don't know the correct names for all of these.
There are one of each: wombat, duckbill platapus, some sort of bird, dingo, and the lizard with
the frilly skin around its head.
United Kingdom
Union Jack flag patch and "The Year of the Scout, 75, 1907-1982". I assume this is a UK patch as the stitching is very similar to other UK patches in my collection.

This is by the scout honor system. If you are a current youth member of the BSA, please do not ask to trade for a rank patch above your current rank. All older rank patches can still be worn if you use a uniform shirt of the same time period.
1960's Rank/Position
In the 1960's up through 1972, rank and position patches were square/rectangular with green backgrounds (except Life and Eagle ranks). Those I have are a combination of new and used (please ask) and include:
Cub Scouts: Wolf-Bear-Lion, one set each in wool and twill
Boy Scouts: Tenderfoot through Life (life is heart shaped)--several of each, except Life. I only
have one Life badge and it is lightly used.
Assistant Patrol Leader (single green bar)
Patrol Leader (two green bars)
Senior Patrol Leader (two and a half green bars behind the First Class badge)
Assistant Scoutmaster (yellow border)
Assistant Cubmaster? (yellow border
1970's-80's Rank/Positions
In 1972-3, the BSA switched to oval-shaped badges. Each rank had a different colored background. The joining 'rank' of Scout was added. People complained for over a decade about the uniform being too colorful and the BSA changed the system again in 1988-89. I can think of one positive of this multi-color system--you could tell from a distance what rank a scout what and roughly what leadership position they held. I have the following:
Cub Scout: Bobcat, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos--some new, some used
Boy Scout: Tenderfoot, Second Class, & Star--all used.
Cub Master--used
Assistant Webelos Den Leader--used
Assistant Patrol Leader--used
Senior Patrol Leader--well used
Leadership Corps--well used
1989 to present Rank/Positions
Currently, the BSA uses a khaki background for all rank/position patches (except Eagle Scout). I will not trade current rank patches within the USA. I currently have available for trade:
Tenderfoot-unused
and
Eagle Scout. As an Eagle Scout, I have access to obtaining extra Eagle Scout Rank Patches. I will only trade these for the TOP RANK in scouting organizations in other countries. I worked hard to earn Eagle Scout and don't take this lightly. If you don't like these conditions, go plunk some cash down on eBay (don't get me started about that) and go buy an Eagle Badge.
I have already traded for Scout Canada's Chief Scout, UK's Queen Scout, and Finland's First Class Scout (beautiful large pin). I'm open to trade for any other top rank.

1960's Red & Black--I would like to trade similar for these if possible, or make me a trading offer of like value. These are unused unless noted otherwise. Identified the best I can, please ask for a scan to make sure if you are interested in trading.
Dog, Flaming Arrow, Moose, Hawk, Eagle (2), Beaver, and Owl.
1970's-80's multicolored backgrounds--Like the rank patches of that time period, the patrol medallions also had different colored backgrounds. These are a combination of new and used, please ask if you're interested.
Alligator, Moose, Pedro (head shot)-the Boys' Life Mail Burro, Flaming Arrow, Liberty Bell, Bobcat, Raccoon, Badger (?), Bobwhite, Bison, Hawk, Pine Tree, and Panther.
1989-present--all have khaki backgrounds. These are a combination of new and used, again, please ask if you're interested.
Dragon, Scorpion, and Shark

I am not really into Community Strips. For those who don't know what these are, they pre- date the Council Shoulder Patches. Up until about 1972, you wore the name of your community and state on your shoulder instead of the CSP. Council volunteers/employees wore a red and white strip with the name of the council or a full CSP-sized version--again with just the name of the council on it.
If you see something here you want, make a trade offer--maybe an event patch or two of similar age?
These strips are USED unless noted and currently include:
Community Strips:
FREEPORT (unused)
KANSAS CITY
KENNEBUNKPORT (unused-summer home of former President Bush "senior")
PAINESVILLE, OHIO (unused--newer issue has Ohio under Painesville)
PORTLAND (looks unused, but edges are a little tattered)
RAHWAY (looks unused, but edges are a little tattered)
VICTORVILLE
State Strips
CALIF. (California--looks like it might have been glued)
KANS. (Kansas-used)
NH (New Hampshire-unused)
RWS Council Patch
TRANSATLANTIC COUNCIL FRANCE--well used
