Other Fudds at Maine Fudd Volunteer HQ

Dr. 'Doc' Zach Matthews
Retired, old-fashion country doctor who serves as the base physician. He's more concerned with the well being of his patients then with their backgrounds/affiliation. MIA and presumed dead after the Maine Battle of 1999.

Carol Blake
Human widow of Steve Blake. Caring homemaker and very motherly to her children, she's quite able to defend herself and family with a Fudd-issue 20 gauge shotgun. She is also an exceptional cook, her Yankee pot roast with homemade gravy and all the trimmings (Steve's favorite) shouldn't be missed. She has kept much to herself since her husband's death in the fall of 2000.

Matt Blake
Thirteen, going on fourteen year old (Winter/spring 2002) human son of Steve and Carol.

Cathy Blake
Adopted devilbunny daughter of Steve and Carol. She was a human girl and best friend of Julie Blake until they were kidnaped by buns and infected with HLV. The buns arranged the murder of her real parents. (See The County for the full story.) After her rescue, she was losing her battle for life with HLV. Steve (under much duress and wanting to help her end the pain) bit her to speed-up the end. Instead, it gave her the boost to fully convert. In the spring of '97, she donated a kidney to Steve, who's own were failing after a failed experiment to reverse HLV (see To Be or Not To Be.) She served for a while in the Army of Fudd providing Fudd troops with in hand-to-paw combat training in early 1999, only to be captured by bun forces in the spring of 1999 and escaped that fall. She has since fallen in love with a regbun, Joey Snowpaw, and has had one litter of five kits. She is currently on indefinite leave from the Army of Fudd. Her current loyalty to the Army of Fudd is in question. In the meantime, she has relocated with her mate and kits to Volo Bog Warren. She and her mate occasionally visit her mate's brother, Mustard Snowpaw, chief mentat at Namakata Labs.

Julie Blake
Biological daughter of Steve and Carol who was kidnaped and converted by the devilbunnies (see above under Cathy). She resigned from Army of Fudd Intelligence after her first mission to Volo Bog Warren in Northern Illinois, and joined that warren. She has since had one litter of four kits, two female and two male (Thistledown, Sunfall, Brownpaw, and Smudge) with her mate, Orchid, the warren medbun. She rejoined the Intelligence service in January 1999 and helped rescue Eugene Pomerleau from Denverwarren. Her current whereabouts are unknown, but rumor has it she's trying to find deep cover intelligence agents trapped behind fluffy lines. Rumor has it she found one of these agents in early 2001 and helped him resettle at Volo Bog.

Captain George Stickney
Real good friend of Steve Blake and Godfather of Julie. Though he calls Maine Fudd HQ his homebase, his assignments take him off base and across the country quite a bit. He is also the uncle of the 'late' symp, Jim "Steekman" Stickney.

LT Donald O'Keefe
Formerly of Lubbock Fudd Intelligence, he is the base's communications expert. If you send a message to or from Maine HQ, you'll more then likely talk to O'Keefe.

Captain Audpaul Sawtelle
Lumberjack Fudd and current second in command of the base. He served as temp. commander when Eugene was MIA late 1999 through early 2000. Like all of the Lumberjacks, he speaks in heavy French-accented English.

LT Aldin Oakhurst
Hero of the Namakata Rabies epidemic, Aldin prefers to be called by his last name, Oakhurst, rather then be confused for his namesake, Aldin Busheytail. He has been assigned to Maine Fudd HQ from Namakata to oversee squirrel scout operations. He has settled in with his mate, Sassafras, one of Mustard SnowPaw's daughters.

You will also come across groups of Lumberjack Fudds on base, all with French names (at least the last names are French) and bad Canadian/Quebec French accents. There is also a group of about ten squirrels serving near the base at any one time on assignment from Namakata.
