(chitter) I last found time to update my page on 14 November, 2002 (bounceflick).
Changes since last update: Typo corrections and new look! (Proudflick).

(wellflick) We started as slaves of the Fluffy Empire.

That's my tail flicking, silly! (amusedflick) Squirrels, like devilbunnies, are naturally cute, but we don't pervert our cuteness and use it for evil intentions as the bunnies do with their ky00tness. (shudderflick) Wild squirrels communicate with a series of chitters and chirps along with tail wigwagging or flicking. Sentient squirrels add normal speech to this. The flick-emotes in parentheses describe our tailflicks. Of course (deviousflick) if you don't understand squirrelflicking, all you see is a squirrel's tail flicking in a certain pattern.
A few examples:
curiousflick--tail raised into a question mark and flicked straight-out rapidly.
ponderflick--curiousflick done slowly. Sometimes repeated.
greetingsflick--almost like a dog wagging its tail or waving towards the one being
greeted.
cautionflick--rapid flicking up and down and to the sides in a twisting, wavey
action. Usually 4 to 5 sets with pauses in between are done. RL normal squirrels do
something like this.
affirmativeflick (or yesflick)--up and down once quickly.
negative(or no)flick--left and right once quickly.
deviousflick--very lazily waving back and forth, usually accompanied by a sinister
grin.
saluteflick--like a human salute, but using the tail tip.
farewellflick--like waving goodbye using the tail.
shock (or surprise)flick--tail stands out stiff on end.
affectionflick--curls around the one the affection is being given too. If two squirrels
are involved, the tails are intertwined. Usually done between mates or good friends.
panic (or fearful)flick--tail simply goes beserk and does flicking in
any direction at random.
defiantflick--tail smacks downward against whatever hard surface (if any) is
nearby.
silenceflick--tail is put to the squirrel's lips and then flicked back. Usually used
when a group of squirrels are preparing an ambush or anytime when noise should not be
made.
(humbleflick) I don't like to talk about my many adventures much, but you can check-out Moxie's Stories page to learn more about my past contributions to the war effort.
(Apologeticflick) I maybe retired, but I'm still a very busy squirrel! }:3
But I have fans!

BunnyHugger drew this picture of me! (excitedflick) She did an excellent job though we've never met. (squirrelybounce) |
And Kaeralina Deville Bunny drew this one. She also did an excellent job, (praiseflick), though we've never met. |
(modestflick) At this rate, I might have to create a separate portrait page like Bunnyhugger. (gigglechitter)

Care for Infant Squirrels. I am providing this last link for I get asked several times a year what to do should you find an infant squirrel and you know its mother is dead. Please note that in many states (including Maine) you must have an animal rehabilitation license in order to care for wild animals such as orphaned squirrels.
Beware of the anti-squirrel groups out there such as Scary Squirrel World. These devilbunny-backed groups spread nothing but slander about our species! (Indignantflick)
