Entry: "Time Traveler's Wife"

This morning (on darkhorizons) Andrew ran across the Time Traveler's Wife movie news that Steve posted back in early August. (which I would have responded to at the time if I'd been paying attention to my comments...) It's a great candidate for a movie, great characters and unique plot and style. But (of course) it could go horribly wrong and be horribly bad. So part of me hopes it never gets made... and then at the same time I'm very curious about how it would look on screen.

I'm still all grumbly that we didn't get more of the book, not because I should have anticipated the Turow/Today Show bit, but because now all published copies of the book will have that annoying "as seen on the today show" icon on the cover. Which I HATE. Almost as much as I hate seeing (no matter how grateful I am that the movie is getting people to read Virgina Woolf... someone I should read more of) "the book that inspired the award winning movie The Hours" printed on copies of Mrs. Dalloway. AND (as long as I'm griping here) all movie-related covers. Ever.
