Entry: "Book Piracy"

Good to know someone's protecting Peter Rabbit in China. Articles about the piracy of children's books always strike me as a little odd. There's the whole intellectual property/copyright/buisness issue that's pretty serious and has dollar amounts and political ramifications attached. And then lurking in the background (at the heart of the matter) is... you know... Peter Rabbit... stealing from Mr. McGregor's garden and all. Or (funny piracy case in Venezuela) Harry Potter.

But in any case (as the article concludes) the Chinese government paying attention to such things is a noteworthy phenomenon.
