Entry: "Water"

Well.... I dunno. Here was one of my first attempts with the brushes. I can make ok looking bamboo now too, but that's severely uninteresting. This is what I did yesterday:

Then I got frustrated and started making stick figure cartoons in pencil... which is fun and easy... and kind of dumb. But if I salvage anything from it, I'll post something. The brushes will take a while to get used to... and I'm not sure I have the patience to get to a point where I produce stuff I really like. But in a perfect world, it would be great to be able to do recognizable faces with them.... somewhere between cartoon and realistic... I dunno. I just love shades of gray and the smoothness of them.

The boss and the boss's boss are on vacation this week. So I probably won't have much chance to play. Ugh.
