Entry: "Time for Some Art"

It's time for some more art. I'm going nuts and I've only been back at work three days. Training people sucks the life force right out of my body. Even if they're wonderful good new people who I appreciate and feel fortunate to have. So to replace my lost get-up-and-go I think I'll give my birthday/Christmas art supply gifts another try. My first try was very promising... but I think I should use the smaller brush this time... if nothing else it'll conserve paper. The brushes are so smooth and relaxing, and the gray tones are soothing. The sets may be ideal for ultra simple drawings... like those line cartoons I did of Jim and Andrew a while back. I'm thinking maybe a new cartoon is in order... or maybe a new self portrait. It's been a while. No worries... Snowgirl will return as soon as these absurd temperatures go away and we get our excellent Maine weather back.
