Entry: "Joy"

I can see! I can see! Thank you Mom and Dad for this delightful, lovely, bright, new LCD flat little ohmanit'sfantasic monitor. My poor little lonely laptop (with it's busted screen) will once again get love and attention. And no more sharing a computer! Andrew and I don't exactly play well with others...

Between this and the camera and playing with the fruit game this morning... ahh... it's just been one. good. day. Also yesterday I bought a book of short stories by Donald Barthelme, writer of Some of Us Had Been Threatening Our Friend Colby, a story I fell in love with when Barthelme was mentioned on Bookfilter. So I treated myself to another read of Colby. And I'm sooooo close to finishing Swann's Way. It'll happen. Soon.

BUT (After some consideration) I also received intriguing new art supplies from my sister (Thank You, Kali!)... so Swann's Way may have to wait a bit longer.
