Entry: "Harry Potter"

Apparently, after who knows how many millions of dollars in advertising, everyone in the country knows when the new Harry Potter is coming out except the news guy on NPR this morning at 7:30 who thinks we'll be selling it tonight.

Okay, so sometimes my choices of friends is questionable, but the NPR guy isn't the only one who doesn't know about Harry Potter. I have personally spoken with two very close friends in the past two days who had no idea there was even a book coming out. So cut the NPR guy some slack. At least he knew there was a book.

Yeah well, he should have done his homework. Hrmph. Sorry I wasn't home last night when you called... I'll call you tonight.

When does this book come out?

Posted by Tim @ 06/19/2003 09:42 AM EST

It can legally be sold on the 21st of June. Therefore we will be open at midnight, and will begin passing out the book as soon as Friday the 20th becomes Saturday the 21st. And there will be some who stay up all night reading it. I, however, will not be one of them. As I am to be back at work at 8:30 Saturday morning to oversee the mob.
