Entry: "Silk Road, Millicent Minn"

Hey! Sean-Paul has begun his Silk Road Journey.

Not being up to adult books and all, at least during this work week, I've been reading Millicent Min, Girl Genius by Lisa Yee. It's a middle grade children's book about a nine-year-old high school junior who's IQ isn't doing anything for her social skills. Written in the first person, it's quirky, sympathetic, charming, and fun. Both the teasing she's subject to and her reactions to it are believable. I identify with her oblivious lack of social ability. :)
