I've been feeling a strong urge to discuss SF lately... makes me wonder if there's an SF bookclub around one of the bookstores in Portland. I kind of doubt it, considering the lamentable selection at most of these stores. But I feel the need for some shared appreciation. Modern Tales is doing well, I think. They have more effective promos of the comics on the main page. I still think it could use some more functionality, but I'm picky like that.

Amazon's "Customers who bought this book also bought:" is becoming increasingly accurate: I often find that books that sound appealing to me and discover they're linked with books and authors I already enjoy. I'm not sure whether this is a good thing or not.
