29 Acres Survivor Rules     Basic Shelter Building      Pack-up List

We spent much of the day learning about various survival skills and situations.

One of the more important skills is fire building.  Kevin won the fire competition by being the first to get water to boil.

Even meals were a factor as scouts used their imagination and cooking skills to come up with interesting and appealing meals!

Beans and Mac and Cheese were among some of the favorites.

RAMEN noodles were another favorite.

There was training in making survival weapons for food gathering.  Among them were the sling, bola, spear, and traps.

Tim came in second place and received one of the large Survivor Flags.

Kevin earned the highest number of points during the day and was awarded the Survivor Carved Idol award.

Our friends the porcupines waiting for us to leave.
