Aqua Diving Academy is Northern New England's premier scuba and in-the-water sports facility. ADA is Maine's only scuba shop located on the waterfront. Founded in 1976 and under new management since 1988, when Julie Footman bought the shop and became the owner operator.
ADA is a Scuba Schools International (SSI) Instructional Facility. ADA is also affiliated with Technical Diving International/Scuba Diving International (TDI/SDI). Aqua Diving Academy instructors are also affiliated with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) and other diving organizations.. While scuba diving is clearly a strong focus of ADA, we are interested in all for ms of water related activities including swimming, snorkeling, surfing and kayaking. Our team members work with local law enforcement and commercial divers as advisors and suppliers. Our instructors can take you from basic open water instruction all the way through the most challenging technical diving specialties. Aqua Diving Academy is your one stop in the water shop. |
