Antonisa
The award winning Antonisa is another King and Hodgdon collaboration. Bruce King's design is the ultimate "modern classic". Antonisa's long overhangs, gentle sheer, flush deck and signature elliptical skylights harkens back to the start of the 20th century. Below decks the King design is breathtaking; the working fireplace, the pipe organ and the elliptical wooden bathtub are distinctive and well noted highlights of her interior. The greatest achievement below is the builder's ability to use high tech materials, methods and advanced systems while producing a traditional and gorgeous cherry and painted interior.
Hodgdon Yachts of East Boothbay, Maine is a premier builder of superyachts. Their construction method is known as cold-molded wood epoxy and blends the skills of traditional boat building with modern construction techniques and materials. Their yachts are built with wood, composites, epoxy and vacuum bagged to form a strong, stiff and state of the art hull. The joiners are world class. Whether they use teak, mahogany, sycamore or walnut, if they build in a traditional or contemporary style their skill and pride is evident and unsurpassed.
