This was a great day with temps ranging from 11-34 at the trailhead, not a cloud in the sky and the sun was nice and warm. Followed the road & logging road from South Arm Road (just over the bridge) until we could see Elephant on our left, the logging road passed through a yarding area and did a gradual swing to the right, then left. We then proceeded up the banking, going through a clear cut and then bushwacked to the summit. Due to the recent storm, there was snow all the way. We used boots and put on snowshoes when we got off the road and a couple of the group found spruce traps. Easy going with a couple of very thick bushwack areas. Total trip was 5 hours 15 minutes with plenty of time at the top and enjoying the sun when we got back to the yarding area. There were great views.
