This was a Maine Chapter AMC two-night visit to Carter Notch Hut where we ate more than we hiked! Thanks to our chefs who fed us so well! The brownie/white chocolate mouse desert was to die for and the eggplant parmesan had us scrapping our bowls.
Went in and out via Bog Brook and Wildcat River Trails. The water crossings were all very navigable.
We had a very fun loving group and the 3 Rumford gentlemen who were hut guests on Friday night provided an endless supply of jokes. The full moon over the Ramparts on Saturday night was spectacular.
