Location Douglas Mountain Preserve - Sebago, ME
Date November 28, 1998
Comments A ski pole for a bum knee was very helpful. The preserve is a nice place to take some water and snack and enjoy a stroll in the woods.

The Woods Trail was muddy in parts and could use some drainage work. On Thanksgiving Day the trail must have received a large amount of rain and washed done the trail in many sections. The temperature was in the 40's and sun peeking thru. Always nice views from the summit stone tower, even on cloudy days. The Nature Trail Loop received Alot of damage in the January 98 ice storm. Trail was cleared but also needs some drainage work. Limited parking is available at the trail head. On busy days, there is a parking lot run by the Town of Sebago 1/3 mile+ below the trail head. I believe they charge for parking.
