I did this hike based on Tom Atwells article in the Maine Sunday Telegram 8/24. I ascended the Bickford Brook trail, summitted and descended the Blueberry Ridge trail. If I did it again I would reverse the order. The Bickford trail is an old road and climbs at a leisurely pace. The Blueberry Ridge trail is a more traditional trail with a lot of rock hopping. There are no real views from the Bickford Brook trail.
