We also provide a bounty of fresh vegetables and farm raised meats; flowers and seedlings are available. Goranson Farm also offers locally-grown berries and apples in season. We have produce available for 11 months of the year. Here is a summary of our seasons:

May - June Vegetable, herb and flower seedlings, lettuce, mesclun, asparagus, spinach, beet greens, sugar peas, radishes, rhubarb, strawberries, greenhouse tomatoes, herbs.

July - August Peas, new potatoes, summer squash, cucumbers, green beans, carrots, beets, sweet corn, peppers, tomatoes, garlic, cantaloupe, watermelon, blueberries, raspberries, flowers, more greens!

September - October July/August veggies plus cranberries, potatoes, squash, turnip, broccoli, cabbage, onions, pumpkins, dried flowers, Indian corn, gourds.

November - December Winter storage crops,
including potatoes, beets, carrots, leeks, garlic, onions, pumpkins, squash,
cabbage, rutabagas, turnips, and fall greens. If you were a Winter Share CSA member, you'd be receiving all this and more. Click here to sign up.

January - March Same as Nov.-Dec, except without winter greens. The supply of storage crops through the winter may vary depending on the growing season and unexpected storage issues.

Winter squash varieties include: Buttercup (acorn shaped, dry); Butternut (tan, peanut shaped, moist); Acorn (ribbed, moist); Hubbard (big, blue/green, moist); Sweet Dumpling (small, round, yellow-striped, nutty flavor, medium dry); and Delicata (long, yellow-striped, sweet, dry). OUR SPECIALTY: MAPLE SYRUP
Goranson Farm maple syrup is available year-
round. We produce it in glass containers from 40 ml. to 500 ml. (1.06 pint), and in six sizes of plastic container, 100 ml. to one gallon. Maple candy and other maple treats are available on special occasions such as Maine Maple Sunday (March), Open Farm Day, and around the Christmas holiday. Goranson maple products are available at our farm stand and at all farmers markets that we attend. If you'd like to have our maple products shipped to you, call or e-mail us for information. OUR OTHER SPECIALTY: POTATOES
We grow a number of potato varieties,
beginning with the harvest of baby red-skinned potatoes for the Fourth of July.

FARM-RAISED MEATS
We raise free-range chickens throughout the summer. Freezer pigs by the side or whole are available in October, as well as whole turkeys for the holidays. Our meats are sold on a pre-order basis; you may order online.

We also have frozen cuts and ground portions of locally grown pork and beef available (only) at our farm stand. Also, we are stocking frozen chicken pies at the stand.

STORAGE OF WINTER SQUASH
Store in cool, dry locations, minimum 55 degrees F. (attic, a back room, or closet).
