Butterfly Raglan
Designed by Joan Dyer
This sweater is knit using Tess Designer Yarns Silk and Ivory, a buttery soft and lightweight yarn. It is raglan style, with a Henley neckline, and a knitted butterfly pattern along the yoke. The sweater works with pants or skirt, next-to-the skin or with an under blouse, and can be made more dressy by choice of buttons or by including optional beads along the yoke pattern. A matching scarf, or a shawl, extend the sweater use into cooler evenings.

Lotus Raglan Lace Pullover
Designed by Joan Dyer
This raglan sweater is designed for Tess' Silk & Ivory yarn. It is knitted bottom-to-top on circular needles. The lace pattern looks well on a large range of needle sizes; consequently the instructions are given for two size groups: small-medium (bust size approximately 36") and medium-large (bust size approximately 42"). Variations within these ranges can be achieved by adjusting the gauge (use larger or smaller needles). Directions are given for the smaller size, with changes for the larger size in parenthesis. The body and sleeve lengths can easily be adjusted to suit, but both must end on the same pattern row.

Sideways Knit Basic Pullover
Designed by Joan Dyer
Flattering vertical line is especially nice for variegated yarns. Suitable for any worsted wt yarns, it is designed for Tess' silk-wool, a yarn with incredible colors and a lovely soft hand. The pattern is a basic cuff-to-cuff pullover in three sizes with instructions for modifying the sweater within pattern. The shoulder area incorporates short row shaping which I think makes for a better fit; you may omit this if you prefer (for example, if you are making this for someone whose shoulders are more sloped than straight across). The neckband and bottom rib are worked circularly. The appendices contain a stitch details key (short row, knitted cast-on).
