Llama Learning Level I: Controlled Leading

Once a llama and handler master Loose Leading, they may move on to Controlled Leading.

Controlled Leading

Similar to loose leading, controlled leading requires a llama to follow its handler over varied terrain without trying to bypass to a "safer" route. The lead should never go taut, and the llama should trust the handler when exposed to new environments.
