The Sanford Police Department offers the availability of hiring officers for special needs and functions. Officers are assigned to these events after screening and posting of all requests received. Certain types of events may not be eligible for the hiring of officers
Fees for extra service details are outlined below
Cancellations must be received at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled event or a minimum charge of 4 hours per officer will be billed.
No Administrative Fee for School related functions.
