The Sanford Police Department offers the availability of hiring officers for special needs and functions.  Officers are assigned to these events after screening and posting of all requests received.  Certain types of events may not be eligible for the hiring of officers  

Fees for extra service details are outlined below

 

Hourly Per Officer	$35.00	4 Hour Minimum
School Fee Per Officer	$32.00	4 Hour Minimum
Administrative Fee	$6.00	Per Hour Per Officer
Cruiser Fee	$15.00	Per Hour
Minimum Fee Per Hour	$41.00	Per Officer
Maximum Fee Per Hour	$50.00	Officer with Cruiser
Cancellations must be received at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled event or a minimum charge of 4 hours per officer will be billed.
No Administrative Fee for School related functions.
