- Application Criteria (Dispatcher) - *Items must accompany initial Application
*Submit a complete Application
- *Possession of a High School Graduation Diploma or GED certified
- *Evidence of satisfactory completion of ALERT TEST
- No felony or multiple misdemeanor convictions
- No extensive driving history or multiple accidents (Reviewed on an individual basis)
- Certain singular misdemeanor convictions will disqualify an Applicant (Theft, Spousal Abuse/Assault, Sex Offenses)
Failure to submit a complete Application will disqualify a prospective Applicant
- After Application Review (if selected for further processing)....
- Applicant Oral Board (Picture ID required)
- Extensive Background Investigation
- Chief's Oral Board (Picture ID required)
Note: An Applicant may be disqualified at any stage of the procedure

- 1 year department Probationary Period
- Successful completion of a Field Training Program
