Come enjoy Boothbay Harbor, Maine in the charming comfort of The Quilt Loft at McKown Square. Located in the heart of the harbor at 14 Boothbay House Hill Rd., The Quilt Loft offers full condominium style accommodations for four. The Loft comprises the second floor of an historic turn of the century New England farmhouse also housing McKown Square Quilts.

The Quilt Loft is tastefully decorated with antiques, quilts and regional art. It offers harbor views and the following amenities:

Master bedroom with a brass and iron double bed and a harbor view from the window!

• Living room with queen sleep sofa, TV (cable), VCR.

• Full eat in kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, cooking utensils and a complete dining set for eight.
• Large bathroom with claw-foot tub/shower, marble sink and walk-in closet.
• Second bedroom off the living room with daybed.
• Private rear entry with small deck, private off-street parking, telephone (local calls or credit card calls).

This prime location allows easy walking to all shops, restaurants, boating and the harbor for kayaking, biking- whatever your pleasure! Sheets and towels are provided. Sorry- we do not allow pets. Smoking is not allowed in the unit.

Weekly rates (one week minimum):

Advanced reservations required. If you book 90 days or more prior to your visit, 50% is due upon booking with the balance due 60 days prior to your visit. If you book less than 90 days prior to your visit, payment is due in full at the time of reservation. A short term lodging confirmation form will be mailed to you at the time of your booking. This must be signed and returned with your final payment. A security deposit*of $200.00 is required with your final payment; this is fully refundable within 30 days after your visit upon favorable inspection of the property and contents (see policy below). We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover, bank check, money order or certified check. If your booking is made 90 days or more prior to your visit we can accept a personal check. A $30.00 fee will be added to returned checks.

Check in is Saturday after 4PM. Check out is Saturday by 10AM. Keys may be picked up at the Quilt Shop from 10AM to 5PM daily. If you are arriving late, please call 633-1174 and we will meet you at The Loft with keys.

Directions: From Rte. 1 in Wiscasset, Maine take route 27 to Boothbay Harbor. As you enter the harbor you come to a stop sign. On the right is the Memorial Library. Turn right here. Go 1 short block to the next intersection where you will see the Quilt Shop sign on the corner property. Proceed straight through this intersection and turn into the first driveway on the left. You can pick up the keys in the quilt shop.

*Security deposit- The deposit may be used for, but is not limited to the following: property damages, breakage, theft, extra cleaning, telephone charges, reasonable attorney fees, late check out (after 10AM), and whatever else is required to restore the Loft to the condition it was in when you arrived. The unit is checked after each guest. We will notify you if we have questions concerning the condition of the unit after your departure. You are expected to leave the unit in the same or better condition than you received it in. In order to avoid misunderstandings we will provide you with a checklist to use at check out.

Cancellations: If you are compelled to cancel your reservation your rental fees will be forfeited. When you reserve, you are buying a week or more of time in this unit. Due to the extremely short season here in Maine we do not have enough time for re-booking weekly slots. In the event that you cancel and we are successful in rebooking all or part of your time we may refund a percentage of your fees less a 25% cancellation penalty.

This is the "million dollar view" of the harbor from the front deck of McKown Square! The "Pink Lady II" is docked and ready for her next excursion. The Catholic church across the harbor is a breathtaking sight when all lit up at night!

A huge, sunny kitchen comes furnished with an antique kitchen table and all the necessary appliances to make you feel right at home! Lobster pot included!
